Mission for Children - Uganda

Give a Child Hope. Change a Life Forever.

Every Child Deserves a Safe Home, an Education, and a Future.

Across Uganda, countless children are growing up without the security of a family, a safe place to sleep, regular meals, or access to education. Many have lost their parents, while others have been abandoned or forced to live on the streets.

At Altar House International, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in a loving, safe environment where they can learn, thrive, and dream about their future.

Altar House International is committed to restoring hope and transforming the lives of vulnerable children in Uganda by providing safe housing, nutritious meals, quality education, healthcare, clothing, and emotional support. We also equip children with school supplies, life skills, mentorship, and character development opportunities, ensuring they grow up in a safe and caring environment where they are valued and protected. Our mission is not only to meet their immediate needs but to empower them to become confident, educated, and self-sufficient adults.

For many children, access to a daily meal, a school uniform, or a safe place to live can determine whether they have the opportunity to attend school and build a better future. Your support helps provide education, secure shelter, nutritious food, healthcare, clean water, clothing, and other essential needs, while also investing in mentorship, vocational training, and personal development programmes that prepare children for independent and fulfilling lives.

By sponsoring a child or making a donation, you become part of their journey towards a brighter future. Every contribution—whether a one-time gift or ongoing support—helps provide meals, education, safe accommodation, healthcare, clothing, and opportunities that can transform a child’s life. Together, we can give vulnerable children the hope, dignity, and opportunity they deserve.

AltarHouseKidz

AltarHouse Kidz is a compassionate initiative of Altar House International, in association with Full Gospel International Mission (FGIM) Church, Kampala, Uganda, dedicated to giving vulnerable children the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

We believe that every child deserves access to education, proper nutrition, and the basic necessities of life. Through this initiative, we provide school fees, uniforms, clothing, nutritious meals, learning materials, and ongoing support to children who would otherwise struggle to attend school. By removing these barriers, we help children remain in the classroom, develop their potential, and build a brighter future.

Working alongside our local partners at FGIM Church, we are committed to creating lasting change in the lives of children, their families, and their communities. Every donation and sponsorship directly supports a child’s education and well-being, giving them hope, dignity, and the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty.

Together, we can empower the next generation—one child, one classroom, and one future at a time.
